GEOGRAPHY

         Presently, Geography is taught as an optional subject to B.A. program. The Department of Geography is dedicated to providing quality education in Physical Geography, Human Geography, Environmental Studies, Resource Management, Disaster Management, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Sustainable Development. The department aims to develop students' analytical, practical, and research skills through classroom teaching, field studies, project work, and the use of modern geospatial technologies. 
       The department follows the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 curriculum framework and offers courses under the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Programme. The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, environmental awareness, skill development, and experiential education through field surveys and practical exercises.
